Dutch logistics executives to tour Hartsfield-Jackson, Port of Savannah
A delegation of Dutch logistics executives will be in Georgia this week to get a look at the world’s busiest airport and the Port of Savannah.
The trip coincides with the annual conference of the Council of Supply Chain Management, which is being held in Atlanta through Wednesday.
“The Netherlands and Georgia are both pushing the technology envelope when it comes to logistics, distribution and supply chain management,” said Jeroen Haver, a logistics specialist with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, which assists companies that want to establish a presence or expand in the North Sea nation. “This is a perfect opportunity to exchange knowledge to advance the industry and to tackle the challenges each of us faces.” Click here to read more
