After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2000 I moved to Atlanta. Atlanta offers a variety of business opportunities and continues to attract many international companies to the area.
What is your number one business goal over the next year?
We are always trying to build the Western Union Business Solutions brand through various local market and national events. Our primary goal is to continue to educate the marketplace on the challenges of doing business internationally, and provide the tools necessary to protect corporate earnings and control costs where possible.
What is the best advice you have received regarding doing business with Americans/Dutch?
To be straight and to the point with a solid value proposition that is easily understood. We have been extremely fortunate to have earned the trust and business from many Dutch companies through our partnership with the Chamber. Operating with integrity and trust, with the ability to listen and understand our clients’ needs, is a primary contributor to our continued success.
Any other personal information you would like to share, e.g. hobbies, special interests, family etc…
The majority of my time outside of the workplace is spent with my family and friends. I have two young boys ages 7 and 4 that keep me extremely occupied. I keep a healthy work/life balance and positive attitude in everything I do. I am an avid college football fan and enjoy exercising and staying in shape as much as possible. I love eating a great steak and enjoying good sushi as often as I can.
