King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima to visit the US June 1-3

Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima will visit the United States June 1-3, and travel to Washington, D.C., Grand Rapids and Chicago.  The King and Queen will be accompanied Minister of Foreign Affairs Bert Koenders, and will meet President Barack Obama at the White House.

The visit will highlight the big contribution of the United States to the liberation of the Netherlands. In 2015, the Netherlands will celebrate 70 years of liberation. The visit is an opportunity to thank the USA for its role in 70 years of peace and freedom in the Netherlands and Europe. To read more, click here
